MY THOUGHTS AND IDEAS...

I am all by myself at the present.I don’t have a teacher to help me and all I can take guidance from is a few books which I’ve downloaded over the time.But that is definitely not important as the mind control is to be learnt and practised all by oneself if best results are expected. Coming on to my life I after studying a few books got pretty interested in this and believe me it is proving to be a very enjoyable experience.Reading your own mind is a necessary thing to do if we have to succeed here and beyond as it gives an insight into our own way of thinking and also guides our consciousness to the present.As I have learnt my mind has only three kind of processes,it may be different for others.Anyways these are: Memories of the past Expectations about the future Fantasies. And all these processes are interlinked a lot of times.Sometimes it occurs as a chain and it really is amazing to note how the processes interchange.And as usual these processes are coloured by feelings which

Its around midnight here and as i’m browsing news channels on my TV,i see almost every channel showing some type of crime report or other.Right from the ‘sansani’,guy to the ‘vaardat’ guy every one is shouting and analysing the heinous crimes committed on a daily basis.Then i pause for some time and think it over.Is it so?Has crime manifested and penetrated so deep in the society that even a peaceful guy can’t escape from it?Sadly the answer comes out to be true. BEING BAD IS THE NEW GOOD Yes it is true.In these times opinions are made  by watching movies,TV shows and reading filth on the internet.The entire entertainment industry is busy showing the good effects of being bad.Whether it is being a corrupt cop or an international thief Bollywood is leaving no stone unturned in emphasizing the benefits of being bad.The television is filled with those never ending ‘saas-bahu’ serials which act like a ‘how to destroy the peace of your family ‘ kind of guide.Each one of them.The new

Buddha taught us a lot of things which if applied will not only help us in living a happy life but also help a great deal in finding the ultimate truth which we all are curious about.Recently as i was going through his teachings once again in order to find how much I was following him i stuck onto something which was definitely not being followed by me even slightly.Yes it is the path of right speech.I have successfully managed to learn renunciation of worldly desires,I’ve also controlled my sensual desires to a great extent and I’m mindful of not exactly  a lot of but some tasks that i perform.So overall i’m happy with my progress but when it comes to speaking i have failed to control it.It is not that i speak harshly and abusively as before but i speak uselessly a lot of times which is again pretty useless both in terms of energy consumption and mental exertion.
